How Can We Assist You?

Quick guides and answers about MediAlerta.

  • What is MediAlerta?

MediAlerta is the clinical platform where your team runs the practice: charting, visits, labs, imaging, and notes. On that live history, AI scores clinical risk and sends WhatsApp, SMS, and email alerts or campaigns so patients book preventive checkups.

  • How do I get started at my clinic?

Create your clinic free from Pricing: verify your email, name the clinic, and enter without a card. Free includes up to 500 records; upgrade to Professional when you need automated prevention.

  • What do I need for day-to-day use?

Internet and a modern browser. Doctors, nurses, and admins use the clinical web app (PWA). No special hardware — what matters is documenting visits, labs, and imaging in MediAlerta so the chart feeds the AI.

  • Do I have to replace my current system?

MediAlerta is designed as where the practice runs. For clinics with HIS/LIS, the data model is HL7-compatible (FHIR R4 and HL7 v2) so you can integrate later without rewriting the domain. In phase 1 many clinics start operating natively in MediAlerta.

  • How does the risk AI work?

The AI reads the history your team already documents — visits, labs, imaging, and notes — and produces a clinical risk prioritization. It’s not a cold Excel list: it shows who needs follow-up and triggers outreach to book preventive visits.

  • What user roles exist?

Typically: clinic admin (settings and users), physician (chart and clinical decisions), and nurse (preventive follow-up and outreach). Patients don’t use the admin panel — they receive alerts and can book via the configured channels.

  • How do I add or remove clinic users?

Clinic admins can invite doctors and nurses from account settings and assign roles. For multi-site permissions help, email info@medialerta.com.

  • How do I reset my password?

On the login screen use “Forgot password” and follow the email link. If it doesn’t arrive, check spam or ask support at info@medialerta.com for a reset.

  • Can I update clinic details?

Yes. From clinic settings you can change name, contact info, and operational preferences. Billing or plan changes are coordinated with the MediAlerta team.

  • I can’t sign in. What should I do?

Confirm email and password, try another browser or private window, and check that your user is still active. If you’re still locked out, contact support with the account email — we reply within one business day.

  • How much does MediAlerta cost?

You can start Free, with no card, and manage up to 500 patient records. Professional starts at $100/month and adds unlimited patients, alerts, campaigns, and clinical AI. See Pricing.

  • What’s included in that price?

Free includes charts, patients, visits, labs, imaging, notes, appointments, and the impact simulator. MediAlerta may run partial preventive AI on contactless records under its own control, without messages. Professional and Advanced unlock team-operated clinical AI, alerts, and WhatsApp, SMS, or email campaigns.

  • Are annual discounts available?

List pricing is monthly per clinic. For annual commits or multiple sites, email sales at info@medialerta.com and we’ll put a proposal together.

  • How does billing work?

Free has no installation fee, card, or recurring invoice. Paid plans are billed per clinic on the selected interval; payment details go to your billing email.

  • Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel renewal before the next cycle and you keep access through the paid period. Support can help export history or deactivate users when you leave.

  • How do patients get alerts?

Via WhatsApp, SMS, and email — 1:1 alerts or segmented campaigns based on risk and history. The goal isn’t just notifying; it’s getting the patient to book a checkup or preventive lab.

  • How is patient data protected?

Clinical data lives in the platform with role-based access, encryption in transit, and audit logging on sensitive mutations. We design for LatAm clinics with strong privacy practices; local regulatory addenda can be reviewed at contracting time.

  • Do you train our team?

Yes. Onboarding includes a go-live session for admin and clinicians, plus help-center guides. Extra workshops can be planned into your proposal if needed.

  • I have a technical issue. Who do I contact?

Email info@medialerta.com with the account email, clinic name, and a screenshot if useful. We reply within one business day. You can also use the Contact form.

  • How do I suggest a new feature?

Send ideas to info@medialerta.com or via Contact. We prioritize feedback from clinics already running daily charting — that’s where real clinical-risk advantage comes from.
